Mixed Traction Day - All Day Standard Travel
Intending passengers can purchase tickets online in advance or just turn up and purchase tickets from the station shop on the day you visit.
Tickets bought online are valid for the day you've booked for and are valid all day across both steam and diesel passenger trains (not including break van rides). Giving you the opportunity to enjoy multiple journeys during your visit.
First Class Upgrade: Travel in style and upgrade to our first class seating, these tickets are available on the day from our station shop on a first come first served basis. Priced at £3.50 per person/seat, please ensure you have purchased a standard travel ticket as well.
Please be aware you are booking a seat not a compartment and may have to share with other passengers.
First class supplement tickets are valid for one journey per passenger on the day you visit but your 3rd class ticket is valid for all train travel during that day.
We are a dog friendly railway, well behaved dogs and their owners are more than welcome to visit the station and travel on the train. In addition, dogs travel for FREE provided that their owners have purchased a ticket and other passengers do not object. Please be aware dogs are not allowed in our 1st Class compartments.
