Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Gala Days: Volume 15

Enjoy a 90 minute program including highlights from the 2021 Gala.  

Pre Gala Friday:

• Activities include PILTON shunting stock assisted by AXE.
• Interview with Martin Ashworth talking about the War Office Locomotive Society’s HUNSLET 4-6-0T No.1215 built in 1916.
• HUNSLET 1215 at Woody Bay Station and at Killington Lane plus my train set!

Gala Saturday:

•  LYN, AXE & HUNSLET 1215 at Woody Bay, Trackside & Killington Lane.
•  A trip back to Woody Bay onboard LYN with Trackside Scenes.
•  Visit to the Miniature Railway and ride down the track on the Model of LYN.
•  Visit to the Marquee with various activities going on, musical Entertainment outside the Bar.

Gala Sunday:

• Action around Woody Bay Station.
• Scenes of LYN, AXE & HUNSLET 1215 from the platform plus the up & down starter signals.
• LYN departing and returning, AXE departing and returning, topping and tailing with AXE & HUNSLET 1215.
• Sandra Davies & Kevin Smith entertaining us with “I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts!”
• Ride the last train to Killington Lane and back to Woody Bay.
